Bay View Grand is very close to brand new.

A group of us just rented a condo from VRBO for Feb 09. The owner was helpful, sent us a lease agreement and a list of good restaurants. We are staying at the Bayview, but the process was easy. We have paid our deposit and feel quite comfortable with our decision. We did a lot of homework beforehand and it seems the Bayview and the Amara are the newest/nicest along the beach. We stayed at the Bay View Grande in January, 2008. I posted a review of our stay - click on my username "Pevil4" and my "Bay View Grand review" post. Enjoyed our stay at the Bay View Grand and the Ixtapa/Zih area so we booked through VRBO for a 4 week stay for January, 2009.

I am staying at the loma del mar in Oct will let you know how that is? with pics it is pretty new on golf course but pricey

We stayed at La Casa Que Ve Al Mar Dec.07

for 2 Wks loved it. The condo we were in appeared

to be only a couple yrs old. Very tastefully designed

and decorated. Spectacular veiw of Zihua Bay expect

to get some exercise as it is perched on a hillside

high above playa LaRopa.

Made arrangements through Judith Whitehead Paradise

Properties she was very helpful no surprises best

vacation ever.

I've stayed in the resorts in Ixtapa and thoroughly

enjoyed that as well however given the choice I

would go back to Zihua.
