Hi All...I'm considering booking the St. James Grande Luxe Oceanview Conceirge Suite I believe it is in the Windsor building.

Can anyone tell me if this is correct? There are so many different room types and also the listings in the travel agent cites don't often match Sandals room titles listed on their site...is anyone else confused by this? Hard to know exactly what I'm booking and what's included. Has anyone been disapointed by a booking mixup...Does Sandals end up giving you something different from what you booked?

Is the Windsor location good and rooms nice? Is a patio better than a balcony?

Is conceirge service worth it?

Thanks !!!

Have not stayed in the room you are talking about, but I can tell you that if you want a good view, a balcony is better than a patio, because the patio is on the first floor, and depending on where you are, you may or may not have a direct view of the beach, or whatever it is you're supposed to see. A balcony view is much better.

The last time we were there, our concierge service was just about non-existant, so I do not know if I would pay extra for that again.

Good luck with your room choice decision

We stayed in the Balmoral Honeymoon Suite in the Windsor building. The St. James sounds almost identical from the description on the website. The room was large and quite nice. We were on the first floor which at first I was not crazy about but in actuality turned out to be convenient. Never had to wait for an elevator. There was no real view- you were surrounded by foiliage which was rather nice. Any time we asked the concierge for anything they were right on top of things. We have done both with and without conceirge service. We prefer the service..it is just one less thing to worry about. Enjoy!
