Going to Breezes - anyone been there recently? I have a few questions - would love some answers.

Anyone else going at same time?

Where is the best snorkeling around the resort, we have our own gear?

Not much to snorkel for off the beach. Take the Stuart Cove 1/2 day excursion for around $55. Good value for the money. They pick up at the hotel.

Welcome to TripAdvisor - it is a great site for travellers and you can find our pretty much anything you need to know about your preferred destination.

We will be at Breezes Sept 21 to 28. We go there several times a year and will be pleased to answer your questions.

Stuart's Cove is definitely the best place for snorkeling.

Hey Carib, welcome to the board! Besides Stuart Cove you may want to try snorkeling with Captain Paul. He had the Ninja boat that pulls up to Breezes. He takes out a small number of people. You see some amazing fish out with him. The trip isn't long, you can bring your own gear or use his. The cost is around $35.00 or so. Even if you are a great swimmer, I would suggest using his life vest, as it does get very tiring out there. Bring a bagel or some bread from the buffet in a baggie and it's great to feed the fish. Don't forget the underwater camera as you will be sorry if you don't. Capt Paul is wonderful and you will enjoy yourself!

Enjoy Breezes as we always have a wonderful time there and enjoy the Bahamas, some very nice people there.

I am sorry that I forgot to mention Captain Paul. Have known him for many years and hope he forgives us.

There is good food and drink - no Corona only Kalik and Kalik Light (Bahamian) though occasionally see Bu and/or Bud Light.

Lots of activities if you want to participate, otherwise just relax and enjoy!!

What's the website for Captain Paul? And is Stuart Cove a place, or the name of the snorkeling company?

Hi, We didn't get to go snorkeling. We did take our flippers, mask and snorkel and snorkeled off the beach in front of Breezes - you do see some fish, not like a snorkeling trip but it was cool non the less. We chose to do the dolphin swin at blue lagoon - a bit pricey but well worth every penny. Stuarts cove is a place, at the resort you can book thru the people near the front desk. Capt Paul is on the beach, you can book a trip thru him, he comes to the beach and picks you up. you go to one reef close to shore - I didn't feel the $$ were worth it.

Here is the link to the site for Captain Paul. The site was developed by a long time friend of ours many years ago

The site can also be found on our own website, which has dozens and dozens of sites, photos, and general information about the Bahamas. It is at
