Could anyone recommend the BEST dive shop on St. John? We are renting a home close to the Westin. We would want a dive shop close to that.

Cruz Bay Watersports has the dive concession at the Westin.

Low Key Watersports is right in Cruz Bay.

I don't dive but my friends that do only use Low Key.

Have a great trip!

I have used both and about the same. I would use Marcus and Patty at Cruz Bay Watersports since they are closer to you at Westin.

We took our Open Water Certification and dove twice after that with Low Key last May. We strongly recommend them. They have good boats, knowledgeable dive masters and instructors, and their equipment is up to date. If you go to their web site they have a 10% coupon. We printed several of them and got some good deals. They are located next too the Beach Bar and near the Banana Deck.

Have a great trip.

Both shops are excellent. My sister & I perfer Cruz Bay beacuse they only take CERTIFIED divers on the morning dives. Having "resort" divers on the boat limits where you can dive and also shorter bottom times. Not to mention getting kicked, mask and/or regulator knocked off.

Witches Hat (35ft) and Lind Point (55ft drift) are both great spots. Especially if you like night dives.

Tunnels of Thatch is good too if the weather permits. The wreck of the Witschol (100ft) is THE BEST if you are lucky enough to get them to take you there. Also French Cap is very nice.

Happy diving!!!
