Coming back to St. John next week (staying at Gallows Point). Our main activity is always snorkeling. We will rent a car to get to many spots - but this time I really want to snorkel Waterlemon. I would prefer not to park and walk, and I'm not sure about renting a dinghy. Two questions: How hard is to figure out where you are and where to tie up the dinghy? Does anyone know of a person/business that "hires out" small motor boats along with a person who would take two people around to various snorkeling sites that aren't as easily accessible by car?

We spent a day with Ocean Runner and Captain Joel in March - it's great - one of the best experiences I've had on the island. The biggest bonus is that you make your own schedule, so you can change course as necessary to avoid crowds or rough water.

It may be a little pricey for just one couple, but it's a great experience.

Ocean Runner can be a bit pricey for one couple, but Pete says that he has a lot of people that come down, meet up with another couple or a couple of couples, and then all split the cost of a boat trip. That could be an option. If you are going to splurge while you are here, I think this is how you should do it. It is a full day of fun! You get to see so much in just a day. It is one of my favorite things to do here. I've never been disappointed by a day with an Ocean Runner boat and captain,

Hey Just came back from St john and there are dozens of ways to spend a day snorkling in st john snorkel boats for the hard to reach spots sail boats for the journey and the experience! This one for Julie what do you do on island !
