My family and I are to arrive in Vieques on the 22nd, are you positive the boat will be fixed?

No I'm not positive of anything!

Henry, the driver who was to take my husband and daughter from SJU to the ferry port toomorrow, and was to get out tickets, called in a panic on Wednesday morning. He had been to the lancha office and told there were no more seats available for the rest of the month. Henry said he talked to the main guy there and he is ususlly able to work out something, but was told there was no way. So, our plans have changed. We are all flying out of Isla Grande. It sounds like the situation has worsened since Wednesday. I really had to scramble to get flights!!

There are boats running , one just arrived with 2 wedding parties for the weekend and a load of Patronales revelers, but they were just lucky.

That is no way to spend your vacation, waiting til midnight for a boat!

Some of our guests had reservations on Vieques starting today and they also are not able to get any ferry tickets for this weekend. They are at the airport now trying to arrange for a flight over and hoping they won't be stranded. So anyone who has plans to go to Vieques, listen to Viequessiren and don't even waste your time trying to get ferry tickets this weekend.
