Hi, My husband and I are going to San Juan this coming weekend and are renting a car on Monday to go to El Yunque and Loquillo for the day. We want to go to El Yunque in the morning and we were hoping for a recommendation as to a good trail that is fun but not overly hard, and ideally goes past a waterfall where we can hop in for a dip. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I would recommend Big Tree trail. It is easier than La Mina trail, which is steeper.

They both take you down to the waterfall where you can go in.

I have done a review of the trails, so you know what to expect. Check it out and judge for yourself which trail best suits your needs.
