We just booked at the Wyndham Rio Mar, non-ocean view. We're hoping to upgrade when we arrive. The ocean view is not a must, we understand the rain forest views are impressive as well. Any tips? Report as inappropriate |

Just got back from Rio Mar and had a "Garden View" room. From the right of our balcony we could see the ocean, from the left we could see El Yunque and the hills - but between us and all these sites was a lot of unattractive roof top. So, if you can "over look" that, stick w/ the room you have and you may see both! Report as inappropriate | ||||||

We had a really nice rain forest view from the east wing. West wing rain forest views will overlook the roof of the casino and ugly AC units. Even if you can't get an upgrade at least ask for a room on the 6th floor so you'll have a better chance of some sort of view. Report as inappropriate | ||||||
