How sad that your vacation was terrible. I think I would have looked for alternate lodging if I was 'treated' in such a fashion. I'm thinking this is a venting session. I believe the forums are here to offer help and advice for trip planning. There is an appropriate place where you can give your review of a hotel/resort. Just add your review under the Rio Mar.

I've been there. It is not dirty, the grounds are great and the hotel was clean for us. I did not see the minimum $50 a person menu. Probably one of the other restarants. I'm sorry that you are condeming all of Puerto Rico by an experience at one hotel. Have you contacted Wyndham directly to voice you complaints?

Unbelievable... sorry, but there is no "La Parrilla" restaurant in Rio Mar. The only La Parrilla in thet area is at the Luqullo kiosks, and it's that, an open air kiosk and EVERYTHING there is quite economical. Neither there are restaurants that require a minimum, nor the hotel is dirty. Grounds are beautiful, well kept,& staff is very acomodating But as you said, it may be a matter of attitude.
