I have written many postings on this resort in the past because ofm the poor condition of the beach. When I visit the caribbean or stay at a resort I look for a beautiful beach with an equally beautiful swimming pool. There is 1 restaurant on this resort for dinner and one for breakfast and lunch. Have you looked into staying in Isabela or Rincon? You can get cheaper accomodation their with better looking beaches. I have some links for your review.

Mary Lees by the Sea is pretty nice in Guanica

I stayed at Villa Antonio in Rincon two years, like how low key it was, don't need to go there.

I was also considering Villa Mar Hau in Isabella, but the SW side of the island in and around Guanica sounds appealing. I want peace and quiet, low crowds, on the beach.
