We've gone once and stayed at the embassy suites in Dorado. I like it there, but have never found anything to do either. Bacardi Rum factory isn't far away. We took a ferry into Old San Juan, walked the streets with local vendors and did some shopping. Hope you are able to find things to do.

How did your timeshare work out in November? I received an exchange confirmation for this resort and would appreciate your feelings regarding the resort, restaurants and whether a car is necessary. There have been a few negative comments posted about this resort and my wife ans I are getting apprehensive about accepting the exchange this January. Thank you for any input that you can give

TG - you mentioned a ferry to Old San Juan. Can you give me more information on that? We are heading to Puerto Rico this coming summer and will be spending two days in Dorado on our way around the island. Is the ferry easier then driving to San Juan? What is the cost? Any info would be great.
