Does anyone know the deal with the soap opera filming at the Embassy? Many of the review talk about limited rooms, closed outdoor facilities such as pools and beach, and other barriers?

Is this true? when will the filming stop..

They are filming a soap opera that is a coproduction of Puerto Rico and Chile. I have no idea about their filming schedule

I talked to the onsite hotel management today and they did admit that the filming will amount to an inconvenience to its guests from time to time.

He said it seems that about every two weeks, the lobby is used for filming and the pool area as well.

But, he said the hotel is only made aware of the shoot schedule about a week in advance, so it was impossible for him to tell me how this could impact my stays on the property in October.
