I posted this on many boards, so don't mind me, if you are like me and are on every Jamaican related board. :D

our friends from World Together Travels have this new spot on their newsletter, thought I'd share as i know these Rastafarians, those are the rastas that used to guide us all in Reich Falls, now Reich (or Reach, which ever u prefer, i prefer the rasta way of spelling it lol) is now an expensive government owned touristic place... by the same ppl who wants to take over Winnifreds, UDC!! so sadly, many locals lost their way of earning money in this section already...

support them, if you like camping, culture, nature, tranquility, rastafarians, something like Mokko's place, ital food and fresh cuisine, this may be a good place for you... i mention Mokko as it is kinda comparable to how mokko started his cabins some time ago, he is now all upgraded, but Bredda Rasta Lion is only starting, and am sure his place will soon look real criss! He is a really good Rasta.

here's his info, bredda lion's place:

worldstogethertravel.com/jamaica/lodging-rea…

and may as well add Mokko's info, in case some of you prefers staying on the hill side, beside the river, near bath....

worldstogethertravel.com/jamaica/roots-host.…

Jah B for Blue Mountains excursion, another rasta place:

worldstogethertravel.com/jamaica/blue-host.h…

i'm very very excited about this new place at Reich, we love staying with RAstas, we plan on staying with Jah B for 3 days to do the Blue Mts in the falls, so thought i'd share the knowledge, as you never know, you may find yourself one day, living the real jamaican life, with them.

:-)

Guideance, Jah Bless & One Love!!

to see us with Bredda Lion, before Reich was taken over by UDC... …myspacecdn.com/images01/43/l_0cf305c2fa555e…

Hello, Bighouse! Thank you for your information and links. They look like wonderful places to stay. I'd love to try them out but with 13 & 14 yr. old girls tagging along, it probably won't be possible. But this is the sort of thing that my husband and I'd love. :)

actually i think your kids would prob like to see how kids do it in those communities, we were the ones playing with Mokko's twins, they would always hang around after dinna to play football or go walk in the river. (something i would have love at 14 hehe but knowing my parents, i know i would have never seen jamaica period lol)

you are so right, all unspoilt areas must be visited, before they get babylonize!

if you happen to see Ras Mokko, tell him Browning is saying One Love!
