Hi, we are going to Sandals Negril for our honeymoon in May. We just booked today through a travel agent who happens to be my cousin who is very new to her job. She said that for some reason, all of the private airport transfer people don't go to Sandals Negril.

If I don't book through the Sandals website, is there a way to get a transfer to and from the airport?

If anyone booked a transfer outside of the Sandals website and used a transfer service, do you happen to remember the name?

I'd rather use a service instead of a taxi since it's such a long trip...

Thanks for your help :)

It doesn't matter who you book through, or what vacation supplier they use to book your vacation, it automatically includes round trip transfers.

If you WANT a private transfer, there are plenty that go to Negril. Your cousin, bless her heart, is just too new to know. As time goes by, she will know her stuff...takes awhile. ; -)

I use Chef Thompson for all of my clients and personal transfers/tours. He can be reached at:

I swear that is what I read somewhere, and I told her that but she said no. Thank you!

Hi, if you wish you can get a short flight from MoBay using a company called TimAir, the small landing strip is a very short 5 mins from Sandals, Negril and if you contact them direct you may get a good deal, and more time to spend on the beach. I believe it costs around $180US for a return trip. Even if you just get one way it would be a special memory of your honeymoon trip and you get a birds eye view of this beautiful island :)

In regard to the post above, we just requested a quote to fly TimAir from MBJ to Ocho Rios (we are staying at SDR) and for two people roundtrip their quote was $900 US. I'm not sure why this is almost as much as our flights from the states are but I thought I'd let you know that was our experience with the private flight option. We are currently going to check rates with Chef as suggested above. Sandals does provide free transfers to the resort from the airport and then back but then you are at their mercy.

Good luck!

Thank you guys so much! I called my cousin again and we got it figured out. I will mention the private flight to her and see what she can come up with.

Thanks again :)
