I've been reading the posts and wanted to know what the Cave's are. Is it a resturant? Could someone fill me in. It sounds like a cool place to eat. Also, Does anyone know where is the place where they set up a table on the beach to eat for us romantics out there? Thanks!

The Caves is a hotel on the cliffs that has Caves on the property! Yes they have a great restaurant That serves in the Caves as well.. not all but most of the resorts do the private beach dinners and Snadals is one of them.

to expand on that a little, the caves is an upscale (close to 5*), botique resort located in the cliffs of Negril (not beach front, so no, no beach tables)....

i have yet to totally understand if they do infact open the dining option to the public... the website doesn't indicate so and it is an all inclusive resort, but some others under the same umbrella chain (island outpost) do open their restaurants to the public, offering ala carte dining (Strawberry Hill and Jakes are two i know for sure are)...

if they do offer dining options, they do have an area with dining tables right in the cliffs... very secluded and romantic... you can see pictures on the website, it looks phenomenal...

The Caves has a bar called The Sands that is open to the public, it may be possible to get food there, not sure.

I have read that non-guests can dine at the special "cave table" when it has not been reserved for hotel guests for something like $300 US.

However, I have never seen this confirmed.
