Just returned from a great trip...had dinner at the Rock House and enjoyed it immensely. Great food and ambience.

I ate there on a trip to Negril in 2003. It's wonderful and the views from the outdoor dining agrea are fantastic. Go around sunset if you can.

What did you all order that you thought was great besides the sunset? Just curious.

Gosh, you're good. I've never been able to order a sunset.

Now I blush :) I order sunset's all of the time when I'm in Negril they are my favorite cocktail =) you should try ordering one sometime. Full name sunset serenades Yum =) Batenders at SATP'S make good ones! You should also try the Dum Dum with a twist of lime and a cherry too =)

Couldnt order lobster as it is not in season now so it is off all menus in Jamaica..there were four of us..started with coconut shrimp, and the other entrees were...fusilli with chicken in a jerk cream sauce, red stripe battered snapper and rockhouse potatoes, coconut chicken with pineapple salsa and the special of the day grilled kingfish with boiled green bananas and rockhouse potatoes. We passed it all around and tasted it all and it was all wonderful. Would have liked the jerk cream sauce to be a little spicier. Fish batter was light and tasty, coconut chicken - very unique and similar to the coating on the coconut shrimp, kingfish a nice thick white fillet very tasty. Rock house potatoes are boiled then seasoned then fried..kind of like spicy home fries - also very nice. We finished with some speciality coffees as we were so stuffed!! The portion sizes are very generous. Entrees all between 12 - 16 dollars. Had a couple nice bottles of wine..look for a triple mark up in the wine price. You will not be disappointed

Ooooo now I am hungry LOL. That sounds soooo good! I hope we can make time to visit Rockhouse while we are in Jamaica! Would love to try the coconut shrimp, especially!
