My husband and I are thinking about booking a trip to COuples Tower Isle when it re-opens in December. We can only book via the COuples website since no other travel agency is able to book it. We would love to go and be back right around Xmas but I am very worried whether the renovations will be done in time. DOes anybody have any experience or input in this area? DO you think the resort will be don eon time and not half torn down with no pool, etc.? Should we risk it?

We went a few years back and loved COR. Tower Isle is a really great place. I think I'd go ahead and book and take the risk. If I'm not mistaken some rooms/buildings are new, and some rooms refurbished. I've have noticed the prices seem a lot higher. My wife and I are going back to Braco in November on the A/N side - Couples is almost as expensive.

There are other sites than Couples.com that will book you for the end of the year.
