I went to Runaway Bay in Oct some years ago and it was warm but rained everyday except the last day. We still had an awesome time at Club Ambiance.

I can handle the rain, it rained a bit when i was there in July, 2 weeks ago, either early in the morning, or mid day and then it stopped. Now the hurricane potential im not okay with, but this is the only time i can return until after the new year. Thanks for the weather link, jamaica4u

I'm looking at a short late October visit(can't swing the high airfares during the holidays right now). So, there's a good chance of rain, huh? Oh well.

nope, didnt make it to steertown, but i did party. Had a great time.

My husband and I traveled there last October for our honeymoon. The weather was perfect, no rain and sunny skies...I guess we were lucky!

I am going in October the weather is normally 86 or 87 degrees, may feel a bit higher due to the humidy. Always a chance of rain, it is the first month of fall, and tropical storms are still lurking in the Caribbean. I guess I am a brave soul, it will not deter me. JA is grand no matter when I go.

Thanks for everyone who responded, so far, i guess it doesnt matter, i will return to JA no matter what, i just didnt know if it was a tad cooler, at that time of year, as it will be down right cool if not cold in michigan, by october.
