I would book when your there & have a better idea what & when you would like to do such.

Prices are what they are in regards to the atv's. The falls cost 15 each for adults to enter plus the cost of the taxi which should be no more than 10 each way. So if you see it for more {which you may} that would be the best you could do.

I agree, I would wait until you're there if for no other reason than to be able to be sure to have good weather and of course the reasons jam mentioned..

If you can book directly with the tour provider as opposed to through the resort, it is typically MUCH better :)

I am assuming you are talking about Wilderness ATV Tours. I'd LOVE to do that tour, but when I emailed the owners (Neil & Chris Chin) through their website, I was told that the tour was not available in August since they will be working on the trails. So, definitely email them and at least make a reservation (no deposit required) so you're not surprised. I think the $5 extra per person for the Dunns River portion would be well worth it. You get transportation and a private guide (no "chain gang").

I do not know if this is the same tour, or a different one. Are there a few different ATV tours in Ocho Rios? This one looks good, with the zip line.
