I know this has been asked before, but I need to know for sure. Are the Lady Hamilton--adult only--ocean front villa suites open and ready for booking. I called the Grand Palladium over the past few days and received contradictory answers. One rep said they were, a second rep did not know what I was talking about--stating there were no rooms with outdoor showers, which I read there were. A third rep stated that they were still being worked on. So I got 3 different answers to the same question. I have read the other posts and still don't feel that I know the correct answer. Maybe someone can set me straight. Thanks.

There is a recent review I belive its on TA. That says the adults only villas are not ready yet. My husband & I go in Nov. & I also wanted to upgrade. Ive also called the GP to get an upgrade & they have to know how much I paid for my trip less air fare to determine how much more I would have to pay to get the villa.?..if ready. I contacted Cheap Caribean & they wont give me the breakdown for some reason. SO I figure when I get there I will just have to give it my best shot. My friends are supposed to be going to the GP on Sat. morning! I dont know....Its not looking good for them OR for Jamaica @ this point.

Please let me know if you figure it out.

BE SAFE JAMAICA!!!

I decided to email the fiesta hotel group, which from what I understand are the owners of the Palladium resorts, to see if I could get a definite answer. I wrote to the Guest Relations Manager and another reservation representative and received a reply from both. Each stated that the Villa Suites/Adult only section is definitely open. I guess I will trust they are correct. I will probably take their email replies with me just in case there is a problem when I arrive. Hope everyone enjoys their stay in Jamaica.

OK-So the Adlut suites are open....has anyone "upgraded" after booking their package? If so how did you do it? Meaning where did you go thru to get the upgrade? And how much extra was it? I would really LOVE to upgrade.

The best advice I've received (from those who have gone) is to email about a week before you go and 'request'. I plan too email in about a week!

Oo--

My friends are there (still!) right now. They return this Sat or Sun. They are not much for upgradeing they are just happy to not be @ work! lol! But I will give the scoop on what they thought of the GP & if they tried to upgrade or not. 64 more sleeps for us :-( But I will sure try to e-mail them (again) before I go & see what I can do. Thank you for the advice! Good luck & PLEASE let me know if you do get your upgrade.
