We seem to have narrowed it down to :

Sunset Beach Resort & Spa

or

Royal DeCameronMo Bay.

Two Families, kids 15-20.

We'd appreciate any help anyone can provide to help with the final decision.

Like MO Bay since it close to airport and don't want a 1-2 hr drive back and forth.

SBRP plus is the water park

RDC on the "Hip Strip"

Which one and why do you recommend it?

With kids...Sunset Beach.

Good luck with your decision.

hmmm my take on it is that the 15 year old might prefer sunset b/c of the waterpark... 20 year old might prefer RDMB because it's considered a bit more of a "young adult, fun place".... i guess it boils down to who is more easy going and who would you rather hear complain? lol

there's also a new Riu in Montego Bay that will be well operational by then, not sure if it's your thing? just throwing it out there...

I have been to Sunset Beach Resort and believe me the older one will enjoy the waterpark as well as the younger one. My husband and I were 33 when we went to Sunset Beach and we really enjoyed the waterpark. Also, I don't know if you enjoy snorkeling, but at Sunset Beach you can snorkel right from the beach - no need to pay for a snorkeling trip. We plan on taking our kids back next year.
