My family and I are planning a vacation this Nov to Jamaica. We are not sure which part of Jamaica to stay in. There will be no children. Ages are 21 and up to 50. We are looking for a resort that offers quiet relaxing times as well as night life such as beach parties, musicians, bars etc. We don't mind going outside the resort to a bar for entertainment. But we don't want to travel a long distance either. Sometimes we like to stay up late, and do things till the wee hours of the morning. We also want to shop. Is there shopping in both Mo Bay and Negril close to the resorts? Which city would best suit our needs?? Negril? Montego Bay? Anyone stay in Falmouth? Is Falmouth close to outside the resort activities. Are there any booze cruise in Jamaica? Thanks for any ideas!!

I'm also looking for something of this nature and any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm used to resorts with lots of land and low-rise building as I've been to Punta Cana a couple of times. I also am looking for beautiful white sandy beaches and lots of hot hot sun!

Hello, sounds to me like Negril would be what you are looking for. Great seven mile beach, with lots of choices of small hotels and lots of restaurants. Easy walk on the beach to all places. There is music on the beach every night at various places. Once agin, you can walk. Lots of bars and beautiful water and swimming. If you need any further info on places to stay in Negril or transportation to and from airport. e-mail me at Anancynancy@aol.com. Warmest regards. nancy
