Do you mean the Bob Marley Museum in Kingston? There is also Nine Mile where he grew up and is presently (perhaps not for much longer) buried.

Nile Mile is a little under an hour from Ochi and Kingston is about two hours.

ANY ANY ANY thing authentic about Bob Marley is well worth the trip if you are true fans !!

We're going in April so I picked up a 2 cd pack of Bob Marley, it's amazing. We will be looking up the museum.

Sorry I guess I should have been more specific. I want info on the museum in Kingston and approx how long is the drive. Do they have a gift shop???

Anywhere, not sure how long it is. I am going in late April, leaving from Runaway Bay. We leave at 7:00 am and return around 6:00 pm. Trip organized thru the hotel we are staying at.

The trip should take approximately 90 mins from Ocho Rios. The museum is located on Hope Road in Kingston. A truly magical experience for any Marley fan. Gift shop and restaurant located on property.

If you are into Bob I think it is worth it. The video at the end of the tour shows some really interesting footage.

If you want Bob Marley t-shirts and they are out of stock at the museum (which they often are) there is a Cooyah T shirt shop about 150 metres further up hope Rd on the same side of the road. They stock some cool Bob Marley gear and Haile Sellassie T-shirts too.

Taxi takes about hour and a half to two hours depending on traffic (quicker now with the new highway past Spanish Town).

You could negotiate with the driver to take a meal at Cafe Aubergine on the way back to Ochi, it is at Moneague and is a really good restaurant.
