My husband and I are planning on going to Jamaica in 2009. I am not sure which resort to choose as both have things I like/do not like and would like some input...
Both my husband and I are looking for someplace to relax and we are really "beach" people. Neither of us are much for excusions, although my husband would like to go fishing.
I like to shop at local markets and am a sucker for all the "touristy"/"crafty" items. I would like a resort that provides some type of shopping (off site if possible).
Catamaran cruise - does BRB have one? Is alcohol included?
Food - which is better? My husband loves lobster but I understand it is unavailable after April 1st - is this true?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Lobster is closed season from April through June. We love BRB for many reasons. The nice beach, the many activities that are included, the dining options. They do offer a small cat cruise that includes rum punch but it's not a big fancy deal. Couples is more upscale and more laid back and they have a nude beach. And they are on one of the nicer beaches on the island. It really depends on what you are looking for. If you might want to participate in some fun activities, then BRB is the way you should go. If you just want to veg out, then CN should be your choice.

We stayed at CN last April and will be trying BRB April 2009. CN is very nice but am excited to try BRB.
