Hello,

Yes the views from some of the villas are obstructed by trees, but this just gives you more privacy and gives more character to the island.

The drinks that are available in the mini bar are water, coke, 7up, beer and 4 bottles of alcohol.

If you are in the main building, you are more likely to get a sea view, some of the villas have full sea views too but the villas are bigger than the main building generally, but there are a few rooms in the main building that are huge!

Sorry I don't know about last call, we were always tired and went to bed fairly early with a couple of drinks from the bar and watched a film in bed.

11.30 - ish is last call at the lobby bar. After that you can go down to the public beach.

In room mini bar has coke, 7 up, orangeade, plus a couple of cans of beer and mini bottles of whisky, rum and vodka. Soft drinks and beer are replaced daily, spirits every other day. Plus of course theres room service.

Not much to choose between the villas and hotel rooms - depends which villa you get really. We stayed in both the hotel and Villa 2 - both had seaviews - the villa view was better but it was right on the sea, other villas are not.

On balance I would not pay to upgrade from the hotal to a villa, but if the prise is the same, go for a villa.

I would also say that 11.30 - 12 ish, but you can then take full advantage of Room Service F.O.C., you must be prepared to wait around 30 mins for delivery.

Would Room Service deliver a bottle of champagne/cava? Or can you request that the fridge be re-stocked periodically?

Can anyone tell which cava is available? At another resort, we've been served a Spanish Cava... Friexenet Carta Nevada Brut and Cordon Negro Brut, I believe. Just wondering... thanks.

We had cava delivered to our room on several occasions, really cant rem which brand, nothing special, robert something i think, but its very drinkable ! and yes the lobby bar does shut at 11.30, we had vodka, bacardi, whisky, gin, beer, water , cola, diet cola, lemonade, sada, orangade and a mini tub of pringles in our bar which was replaced daily, but i know some people only got their alcohol replaced every other day, i wrote a note in spanish with a tip in the fridge each day, so maybe thats why !

Hi GG,

You can definitely get the Cava delivered to your room or even ask at the bar and they will give you a bottle to take back. We drank many bottles (especially when we were celebrating our friends anniversary) the ice bucket was never empty. Can't remember what it was but I don't think it was Friexenet or Cordon Negro (as would have recognised it as ones we drink at home ) but to be honest we were too busy drinking it to look at the label.....

It certainly tasted ok !!!

They had our favourite Spanish brandy Osbourne "Magno" so they do have the quality Spanish brands.

Even thought the bar does shut at 11.30 we were served as late as 1am on a number of occasions.

Thanks UKJode... just knowing that you have basically the same "taste" as we have, put our minds at ease... and that the cava that is served is comparable to what we are used to!

You have really helped us a lot in our research!

Muchos Gracias Amiga!

GG ;-)
