We are thinking on going to this resort but promised our son he could swim with dolphins where ever we go. Can you swim with dolphins in Samana??

No, you can take the excursion to Ocean World, though it is a 2 day excursion because it is a long way from Samana.

You can see Whales if you go in May, the hotel is a great location for Whale watching.

Small correction to when the whales are in Samana.

Thousands of humpback whales migrate to Samana Bay every year for the breeding season, which runs from January through March. Check link below for more information.

Was there a sofa bed in the room?

Do you know if they bring in roll-a-way beds or cots for children.

i think there is sofa beds and im sure they will put in a cot. the staff are lovely and cant do enough for you.

hi we going to bp cayacoa next july in our early 50s any interesting info not wanting to hear about wall sockets hanging off or stained sheets heard it all before been allover carribean whats best rooms etc

the hotel on main island is lovely, we stayed in room 314 (i think) which was in 1st floor up from reception and 2 floors up from dining room and 3 from pool.

it overlooked the bay and the pool. no sockets etc hanging off wall. aircon worked lovely.
