Is there any good places to go snorkeling if we are staying at Sunscape Punta Cana Grand. We are going to be there March 19-27 and I know that their is a law that their are no motorized boats allowed in the water during this time. Is that going to make snorkeling difficult? Please let me know if you have any suggestions. THANKS!! Only 8 more nights to sleep.

We just got back from the Bahia Principe and booked a snorkelling trip through "BAVARO SPLASH". My wife loved it.The cost was $62 US per person. They picked us up at the hotel and took you to their facility. From their they took us to 2 seater motorized boats and we proceeded to go to the snorkelling area where they had a large covered boat. Its from this boat that we went on our snorkelling expedition. We spent a good 45 minutes in the water. In all including pickup and dropoff the tour lasted approximately 4 hours. We felt it was well worth it.

I know at our facilty down at the water sports their was a 16 foot aluminum boat that they would take you out in and go snorkelling close by. I didn't hear how good the snorkeling was but the cost was $20 US per person. You may want to check that option out at your facilty.

I hope this helps. Enjoy your vacation.
