The Maranarium is a must too . . its the "swim w/ sharks and Rays" . . my family and myslef are staying at the sunscape beach too on jan 2 and we are doing the maranarium for an excursion . . people in my family have gone and said it was the best experience ever . . they also give you free drinks and take you to a natural pool way out in the ocean thats only a couple feet deep and you sit in the ocean and just drink and have a good time . . and they also give you a spanish lesson . . its suppose to be awsome . . after that you go snorkel w/ the sharks and rays if you want . . just somthing to think about if you like snorkeling/and want to havve a great time . . i thik its arround 60 or 70 $ (american) but WAYY worth it! My husband and I got back Dec 10. We went on the Bavaro Runners and had a blast. They picked us up just after 8am and got back to our resort around 5pm. It was a full day and was $78 US and worth every penny.

When you said Bavaro Runners, which excursion company did you mean? Was it the Aquatic tour with Apple?

chasygirl, the excursion was called Bavaro Runners and was not the aquatic tour. We had 15 people plus the tour quide on a 4x4 jeep. The travel rep at the resort should have a binder with all the different excursios in it.

Does anyone have the websites to the excursions? Someone stated the Maranarium is a must do.
