Hi everybody,

I have a dilemma: which hotel should I choose for a family of four - Tropical Princess or LTI? They both are listed for the same price. Or should I splurge a little and go for Palladium? Is it worth the extra $600 for a family vacation.

Thank you very much.

We were at the Palladium last year and had a fantastic week. From what we saw the LTI looked very basic for our taste. The Tropical Princess looked nice but if you want a great, large resort and a lot of choices for restaurants ( more than 8) the palladium is the way to go. Take a look at my pics

I think I would splurge. From what we heard (Dec9) on the plane back to BC was that alot of people were getting sick at the LTI and there were people who were booked for 2 weeks and leaving after one. Health officials from Toronto were flying out to access the situation. It could all be cleared up but I would check with others or even your travel agent on what they have heard.

Thank you everybody for your posts. While I've been trying to make a decision, Princess got sold out and too many negative reviews have been posted recently from LTI. So, I booked Palladium Palace for January 5. Can't wait to go there.

Thank you again.
