Ye.............s . Tickets finally arrived today!! So I know we are finally going and I can start packing this weekend. Now I'm really excited and more giddy than normal!

I will be able to sleep better hopefully not worrying about not getting them. Although now I'll be worrying about remembering everything else. I shall now write a list and tick off as they go in case. Bubba keg top priority of course!!

Thanks for the advice and support from you lot who have sympathised and put up with my moaning.

4 days to go...................... I don't count sleeps as its always longer that way!! I don't suppose I will be getting much sleep the last night as we are staying in Manchester - ready for the airport the next morning. the last time we did that some kind person set the fire alarm off and woke the whole hotel up - luckily it was a false alarm and someone had done it as a joke???

I've given up counting sandals and keep sliding another pair down the side of my case . Other half does no packing and the only contact he has with the cases are when he lifts them into the car boot! So he hasn't got a clue what I pack. Its always a surprise for him cos he doesn't know what I've packed for him either!

Am having a fat crisis at the moment - but decided I'm about a year too late and no way can I lose a stone in 4 days - can I??? all my clothes fit me to go with but it worries me what I will be wearing to come home in. I may buy a tent while I'm there. Have you ever seen anyone wearing one lately??

See you soon.

Only 4 days bg...........Did I mention its only 4 days..........................da da da da da........

Ladies, am so peeved - have been banned fom any holiday talk by my work team. Think they are just jealous, how mean is that its not like I talk about it everyday. All I said was that I will miss the end of The Apprentice and the start of Big Brother ;) thank God I have TA...

Anyway, bit of advice needed - do you think the roads/pathways through the resort are sympathetic to heels? I'm not one for teetering around in big heels anyway but so far I have onyl got 2 pairs of flip flops, 2 pairs of flats and a pair of wedges.

Are you also taking any cardigans or the similar? I'm not one for getting my bingo wings out at any given opportuntity, so thought a few short sleeve shrugs and maybe 1 or 2 long sleeve light cardi's might do the trick as I'm bring a lot of dresses as opposed to tops/skirts/pants - do you think it will be too hot/humid in the evening for those though?

Also, how much sunscreen are you taking for 2 weeks? We have 4 medium sized tubes of Soltan once a day and 2 medium bottles of Soltan once a day spray, 1 Ambre Solare spray (not once a day), 2 small tubes of spf 50 for face/ears etc. And mossie repellant, how much are you taking? I've got a bottle of Ben's 100 and Ben's 30 - I am a mosquito's dream for dinner and don't know if that'll be enough or you can get good stuff out there if we run out - keep hearing that loads of people didn't even use anything but I can't take the risk as get bad reaction.

Mrs H what a load of spoilsports you work with. They are propbably a yucky shade of green by now are they??

I have4 pairs wedges, 2 flip flops, & 2 pairs of heels (could be a bit iffy with the heels depending on the amount of fluid I may have been forced to consume to stop dehydration)!! I have to have something to make me a bit taller as I won't be able to see over the bar. I'm only 5', and much shorter than that on my knees!.

I am taking a shrug and a thin cardi that goes with most things, although we probably won't need them. Bingo wings look better brown anyway. I'm taking dresses for on a night as I think they are cooler than skirts and tops. I don't do trousers on holiday.

Suntan lotion 2 bottles Ambre Solair 30, 2 Ambre Solaire 20 and 2 Avon 15. Don't think I dare go any lower judging by the remarks on here. I've never used 30 before but after reading how hot it is there I am going prepared.Thats for 2 of us.

Mozzy plug, mozzie electronic thingy you can take round with you and some mozzie spray I bought last year in Turkey.I am usually a mozzie magnet and that is the only stuff that has ever stopped me from being bit.

I have also been taking vit B tablets for the last month and this week started taking anthistemene tablets so if you get bit they don't turn nasty.

We also took our Mozzie tablets on Sun . Are you taking any? Our docs advised us to and up to now no side effects!

Well not long now !! 4 days to go...................

Stop ..............it Stop.............it . ..I.... don't... want... to... get ....................down..........................off................. the ...............ceiling...........HELP!!!!!!!

Hi bg whats bugmace? Avon doesn't work for me which is a shame as I am a ding donger! I have also bought some citronella candles to light on the balcony (just in case I have a romantic moment or two). Its our Silver wedding so I think other half may be anticipating! lol. Not that anything will be happening on the balcony just before you get in there bg with your mucky little mind)!

you thought my words just as i got to the bottem of the post mol. freeview came to mind! ok, bugmace , is a anti mozzie repelent made from flower extracts that some folks from the other side of the pond were talking about, it has no chemicals in it, so i sent for some and will try it over the summer at my sisters place as in the evening it is hooching with the dreaded and fierce midges. you will not have time to buy it and get it shipped over before you go. fed-ex deliver it and it has to pass custums.type "bugmace" into your yahoo or google search box and it will display the web page. bg
