We are SO looking forward to this trip! We will be having a fundraiser here for Maria's charity - Thank you Dizzy! - and hope to have something to contribute when we arrive. We are flying West Jet, and they are allowing us 2 checked bags plus 2 carry on bags, and since we figure we'll only need 1 checked bag plus our carry on each, we each will have an extra for whatever we can bring!

Soul has been wandering around the house in shock all day - he can't really believe it's going to happen!

We are very grateful to everyone who has posted reviews, photos and comments, also to Kerry for her timely answers to our questions!

We are especially thankful to Kaki and Baltobabe for answering my endless questions and providing so much information along with their excellent photos and videos of the resort and Bayahibe.

A final person to thank - Peter King, our local bus system owner who, last winter on a cold rainy day stopped with me outside our island's General Store to tell me about a little place called Sosua (which started me on this incredible voyage of discovery of the Dominican Republic!)
