I have been in constant touch with Trailfinders who are organising my trip to Cocobay, and they have been quite reassuring.

It seems that, as the majority state on the Antigua forums, vigilance is necessary as with most places at home and abroad these days. It would also appear that security has been increased in the resorts.

I will be at Cocobay in Januart 2009 - and as I'm sure you'll have a great time, would appreciate a review on your return.

Be safe, but most of all have fun. Statistically, it's still one of the safest places on earth!

What are the dates of your travel?? My and my fiance will be spending our honeymoon at Cocobay in approx 6 weeks.

I wouldnt worry to much about security, in my opinion after an event like that occured i am sure they have beefed up security, we are also planning to travel extremely light and bring nothing we cant afford to loose. My engagement ring is a family ring and it will not be vacationing with us. This is the best plan in my mind, if you have nothing for them to take hopfully it will deter them from messing with you :0 )
