Do we need to rent a jeep/4wd or is a car suffice?

Is there anything to do with a jeep, like dunes or areas that a car could get stuck if we do site seeing or certain beaches?

We have been everywhere on the island (and this includes back before there were any paved roads other than the main ones) and we have always done all of our exploring in a small car -- never got stuck. Way out at Windward Point multiple times, all along the Savannah Bay area, all over in a car.
