We ate outside for breakfast. They would not let you make reservations. We walked here on the river walk from the Hyatt. It is a long walk but early in the morning it is very peaceful. Get here early. Breakfast was above average. We then toured the house and walked all of King Williams district. more

Highly recommend this local establishment for a more than satisfactory brunch. the guenther house is a house turned museum and restaurant, serving up delicious coffee, brunch favorites like pancakes and waffles, as well as tex mex brunch and lunch favorites. the outdoor patio is beautiful, peaceful, and cool even in july. more

Restaurant is next door to a flour mill. Biscuit & Gravy were very good and a good value. Waffle was very good but at $6.25 for one small waffle not a good value. Staff was very friendly. House blend coffee was very good. more

From previous reviews, I knew I wanted to sample the great food at The Guenther House. Nestled as one of the few restaurants in the King William Historic District, the location is beautiful.
