We tried the resturant on two different occasions.....first time we had Rock Fish and Salmon. The Rockfish was very dry; however, the salmon was done nicely. Decided to give it a second try since the view is nice. The fried oysters were so overdone and the fish entree was tasteless. There also was an extra charge for a nondescript sauce... more

My brother is from Norfolk and heard that this place was rather good; a couple of my friends and I were staying in Lynnhaven and my brother came to visit so we decided on the Fish House. We took a chance in spite of a few bad reviews. Boy, are we glad we did. We visit Virginia Beach infrequently, but we've found a reason to come back more often, i.e. Lynnhaven Fish House Restaurant. It started with the She Crab Soup (a gotta have) and continued through the Fried Oysters and Scallops Lynnhaven. We enjoyed it so... more

The staff was very courteous but ordered the platter and found it all too greasy. Too many deep fried , not as expected as per order. A little pricey but very nice atmosphere and great view. more
