Dining at Smithfield Station is a real mixed bag. They have a great location with a wonderful water view and new shops adjacent. The food is usually pretty good, if somewhat uninspired, but the service frequenlty leaves something to be desired. What a wonderful place to go to relax and enjoy yourself anytime of the year. Located on the river and within 5 minutes of historical downtown Smithfield, VA, there's something for everyone. The employees and owners make you feel right at home. They are courteous and helpful beyond belief. The food is delicious, and the menu offers many wonderful choices.... more

This is a beautiful restaurant overlooking a marina on the Pagan River. We stopped in for a beer before exploring this lovely town. We asked the bartender for a menu in order to plan a late lunch.
