Prepared for the worst due to two prior experiences with arrogant reservations takers and an incomprehensible seating policy, I found it easier not to deal with their attitudes and select another restaurant. Wouldn't go back. Bad service, over-cooked food. Pricey. And some how, even wine [whcih they have nothing to do with] was poor. more
Sure there are a couple of negatives. This place can be loud and there's a lack of parking (though there's supposed to be a new valet service for that block that we haven't tried yet). But food-wise this is consistantly one of the best restaurants on the East Coast. Unusual, delicious tastes pour forth from this first rate kitchen staff.... more

This is my third time at Elaine's since it opened, and by far my most disappointing.
