The service was NOT good. The food was nothing to write home about (disappointing at best) and the prices were high for the TINY servings. It was a WASTE! I'm disappointed it is so hyped for what it is. Maybe it USED to be good, but keep on moving, you can get a better mean nearly anywhere else! more

I really wanted to love Mama Dip's. I have seen her on the Food Network, and the restaurant was featured on Rachel Ray's $40 a Day. A group of 10 friends and I went to Mama Dip's on New Year's Day for a traditional 'southern' meal to bring in '08 (looking for collard greens for money and black eyed peas for luck, etc.).
