Sitting outside by the pool, on a chilly evening, with the heaters on, this was our most memorable meal in Sonoma. The artichoke tart was delicious. The whole meal was some of the best food we had ever had! more

We made reservations thru open table and when we arrived, we were seated promptly. The restaurant did not appear busy but we waited several minutes before our server made an appearance. Once he did come...he was excellent and attentive. We placed our drink orders and meal at the same time. Our drinks came...mine was a coctail and husband had a... more

My wife and I had a less than stellar meal at El Dorado Kitchen. It starting with stopping by looking for a seat, which they said would be available in a 1/2 hr. Left and came back about 20 minutes later and were seated in a very empty restaurant. The atmosphere was simple, clean and nice. This is where the... more

It was just OK, which is less than I expect for $130 for dinner for two. The room is a mix of modern and traditional. Nice lighting. There was weird club music that didn't quite fit the vibe. The weirdest part was the table, which was oddly low for my average height--it hit just at my belt. I had halibut... more

Arrived without a reservation (even though restaurant showed full availability on opentable.com) and were told it would be approximately ten minutes. We were asked to wait in the lobby (which we did) and waited 30 minutes. We went back up to ask what was going on (the restaurant was pretty empty) and were told it shouldn't be much longer. We... more

Ate here on March 11. Great table near the window. Great service--loved the Raspberry martini with muddled raspberries after trying wine for a few days. We had the chicken as well as a halibet special with dungeness crab. Both were great! Server was very attentive, but not overbearing. Manager(?) stopped by, and was very helpful with tips for getting to... more

Listen this is a classy restaurant that will take you in after a hard day of wine tasting with no reservation on a Friday night at 530! Whew!...... On top of that they have a wonderful, helpful, and knowledgeable staff that is ready to serve. The four of us really enjoyed ourselves. I believe after a meal like that the... more

The food was FABULOUS. My main dish was a bit overseasoned, but the mussels were OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!...definately a MUST! And, the cheese plate- the best accoutrements by far. This place is a must IF you don't mind mediocre service. The hostess was the anything but hospitable. If it weren't for the desire to experience the work of the... more

We ordered the braised lamb osso bucco, with "roasted garlic polenta, melted leeks, orange & olive relish." There were a few little dollops of polenta, and the flavor of a bit of olive in one bite only. Neither accompaniment was of a quantity to make it worth mentioning, though the description of the entree suggests that they are side dishes.... more
