We have just returned from Half Moon. It was a nice experience. Overall, probably the best resort in the Montego Bay/Rose Hall area. With almost 500 acres of private land & beach, you never need to leave the resort. There is an ample amount of ammenities. (something for everyone) Horseback riding, Dolphin encounter-for guests only, Bicycles,Golf, Tennis, fitness center , snorkeling,Glass bottom... more

This resort is easy to get to and safe and a great option for families who want to stay together. The villa option is the only way to go here, in my opinion. I would not stay here otherwise. With the villa you get a chef, butler and maid and a private pool and 2 golf carts. The cooking and... more

Stayed there for 1 week. The property is very beautiful and vast. They are currently a 4 diamond rating and working on becoming a 5 diamond, so that said if you find something unpleasant...find the right person to take it up with and you'll be well serviced. Initial resevation was for a superior room, the bathroom was a dingy mess... more

Like others we were a little nervous about booking this trip. It's not inexpensive and we really wanted it to be amazing. Debated on just staying at the Ritz since it's familiar to us.....however, we were pleasantly surprised!!!!!! Upon our arrival, even at the airport , they were waiting for us. Everything was smooth and we were at the hotel... more

I did not expect the to love the Half Moon- I did not think that any property that big would feel intimate, no matter what my travel agent said. And in fact, at the last minute, I almost got cold feet and booked the Ritz Carlton, which I know from experience is my comfort level. Well. i am so glad... more

Our hotel was closed after we booked and British Airways put us up in the Half Moon. Overall it was very good, with our room leading onto the white sand beach. It was lovely and the breakfasts were excellent - enough to fill you till dinner, with plenty of fruit. Dinner though was a little pricey - probably because the... more

We arrived at Half Moon Resort and we were welcomed with open arms. Our experience there was the best I have ever had in any resort I've been too. We had a villa with a butler, chef and maid. The rooms were clean and cool. Our pool was warm and wonderful. I highly recommend you stay. If your in a... more

My family booked one of the resort's Villas, which are in a separate section than the hotel rooms and suites. The Villa experience most definitely is different than the hotel/resort stay experience and I would recommend it to any family travelling together or small group of friends. The villa consisted of five large bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, an... more

We were only going to stay 4 nights but extended our trip another two nights. The hotel is exactly what we wanted and imagined a Carribean hotel would be. Very classy and open air architecture. The service has been great and the people are extremely friendly. Everyone shakes your hand or says hello as you go by. It's contagious. Quick... more

We have just returned from a week at the Half Moon. The hotel is magnificent and we have never experienced such incredible service before at a Hotel Spa. Since we both have High Stress jobs we decided to experience the Stress Management program at the Spa, it was Amazing, so much so that we say that was the Highlight of... more
