I have just returned from a fantastic week at the Palacio Blanco. From the moment I arrived the owners Nick and Lesley made me feel at home and couldn't do enough to ensure that my stay was one of the most enjoyable I have ever experienced. The hotel is tucked away on one of the streets of the busy town... more

Hopefully you'll get to read this review, my first attempt was deemed unsuitable due to a hint of humour (clean and not offensive!). Anyway here we go: We arrived for our 12 night stay, after a bit of a job to find the place as our sat nav took us to the wrong place, to find a wonderful, tranquil atmosphere... more

Stunning, relaxing, tranquil, homely, beautiful, the list could go on. The minute you step into the magnificent courtyard all your worries and stresses of the "real world" miraculously disappear. The thought that has gone into creating a relaxing retreat is outstanding and it all works - perfectly. Nick and Lesley are wonderful hosts that welcome you to share their home.... more

This is the best holiday I've ever had. Nick and Lesley are so friendly and welcoming. The ambiance is spot on and they've really thought about what the customer wants. Fantastic rooms and great rooftop spa pool for cooling off in. If you want the added bonus of beauty therapies then I cannot fault Kelly's massages - they're a must!... more

From "The Bods" of Norfolk... We have just returned from a great week, staying with Nick and Lesley. They are the perfect hosts, their knowledge of the area and is food, and good places to eat etc, is second to none, you only have to ask, and the problem is answered. The way they have transformed the building into such... more

The hotel is a great place to unwind, the rooms are very spacious, immaculately clean and tastefully furnished. Breakfast is served in the courtyard and is very good value. Velez Malaga is very Spanish and the hotel is an excellent... more

...... And Nick and Lesley do just that. Nick's first words to us were ' You must make yourself at home' and we did. This is a beautiful, clean, upmarket boutique hotel that manages to feel homely aswell. You might wonder 'Why would you want to stay in a small hotel run by an English couple, if you are hoping... more

We booked this hotel after seeing one of the programs on tv and spent our 12th wedding anniversary there for just 4 days - not long enough! What a find - the REAL Spain! Superb service, way above what we had expected. Tried to be healthy but with all those pastries for us to help ourselves to all day it... more
