We found this place by chance and were so happy to have found it. John and Moira welcomed us like long lost friends with a cup of tea. The Eagle View is the best place we stayed at during our whole Scotland trip. Rooms and en-suite bathrooms are new and spotlessly clean and have all amenities one could wish for.... more

We arrived on a very wet afternoon after a long journey on a motorbike. We had a warm welcome and shown to our room which also had a drying room for our wet bike gear. The room was like a five star hotel only better. John and Moira couldnt do enough for us. It was just like home only someone... more

This guest house is brilliant. Honestly, it's one of the best I've stayed in. John is a top guy and cooks a mean breakfast. Helen and I went in January and liked it so much we went back again within a month. Absolutley beautiful location and it's approx 12 miles south of Aviemore. Loved it and will return again and... more

I had seen a review of Eagle View in one of the quality Scottish Sunday papers a while back, and it was good enough to stick in the back of my mind, one of those places you read a review about and think, "some day.." Anyway, it was my girlfriend's 30th birthday in December 2007 and we wanted to go... more

By far the nicest guest house iv ever stayed in, tastefully decorated with no detail or expense spared. Very cozy & relaxed. John makes a wonderful breakfast, spinach scramble immense -has to be sampled! Will hopefully be back very soon. Oh and the dogs-little sweeties! more

We stayed here whilst choosing our wedding venue (Ardverikie Estate) for our wedding in July 2007, and immediately fell in love with the place. This is without doubt the nicest B&B we have EVER stayed in! The place is decorated to perfection, the hosts make you feel like friends and the facilities are exactly what you would choose if you... more

We stayed at this guest house as a stop on a drive to Northern Scotland. John gave made us feel very welcome. The rooms were spotless and nicely decorated. Breakfast was excellent and gave us an opportunity to chat with other guests at a large table. There was a strange smell when we arrived but this did disperse so hopefully... more

My husband and I returned to Eagle View for the third time in as many years. This is a wonderful home from home place. John and Moira are fantastic hosts and I would highly recomend this guest house to anyone visiting the area. Excellent situation for touring and hillwalking. Rooms are clean, bright and exceptionally comfortable. (Fluffiest duvets I've ever seen)... more

Just had four wonderful nights at Eagle View with my wife. The rooms are great, tastefully designed/decorated to a high standard. John and Moira are the most engaging hosts you could ever wish for. They rustle up a fantastic breakfast to set you up for a day on the Munros or Glens and are very knowledgeable if you are stuck... more

My husband and two children (8 and 11) stayed at the Eagle View Guest House last May and were so impressed that I had to post this review, albeit, months later! The hosts, John and Moira, were so wonderfully welcoming to us and the other guests that we felt like we were with family. The house is very clean and... more
