3 friends and I visited Barbados in April/May this year and we stayed at the Silver Sands, which by the way was absolutely awful! However the saving grace was coming to The Crane for the Gospel breakfast on our last Sunday - it was fantastic! The staff were incredible friendly and efficient and the food was wonderful! My friends and... more

I have stayed at the Crane resort for the past three years in April, and can not praise it highly enough. Two incredible restaurants to choose from for dinner, and a lot of great restaurants only a short taxi ride away. The beach, oh my god the beach - decent sized waves, I guess if I had a toddler I'd... more

Buyer beware. The beach at The Crane is incredible. It's somewhat secluded, big but not too big and had plenty of umbrellas and lounge chairs for everyone. The resort and pools at The Crane is also quite amazing. The suites are nice and relatively comfortable. The restaurants, Azzure and Zen are OK but nothing particularly special. Azzure is less than... more

First off, The Crane is in a magnificent setting - no matter where you look, the views and natural beauty are extraordinary. Secondly - the construction can either be no problem whatsoever - or unbelievably loud and annoying. Talk to the property directly to be sure that your room choice is out of the construction noise zone. That may change... more

My boyfriend and I traveled to Barbados for a week in August (their offseason because its "hot" then- it was about 82-85 degrees and somewhat humid). He got a great deal on the hotel through his work, so we didn't really shop around for a place to stay and after reading some of the reviews I was a little scared!... more

My husband and I stayed at the Crane August 6-10. We had a one bedroom suite on the fourth floor and the view was breathtaking..overlooking the pool complex and the ocean. The room was clean and well appointed. The AC didn't work very well in the sitting area but the bedroom was cool and comfortable, which was all that mattered... more

My husband and I recently spent a week at the Crane Resort & Suites - celebrating our 2 year wedding anniversary. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with 28ft pool in block 5. Couldn't recommend this choice of room more. It was the most amazing of trips. We usually spent the morning in our suite/by the pool, and as... more

The Crane What can one say.....breath taken. My fourth time at the resort and once again it is hard to express how wonderful it is. This is the second time I stayed at the Hotel. The room I had was very quaint . I have stayed in the past in the resort residences. You cannot talk about The Crane and... more

Although we didn't stay here, we did visit. And by what we saw and experienced during our visit, let me just start out by saying that I am more than happy that we chose NOT to stay here! I feel really bad for the people that actually paid $$, and good $$ at that, to stay here. First off, we... more

Stayed at Crane for 7 days. Have stayed at numerous nice resorts, so not a first for our family. Resort grounds are generally nice, but there is more gloss than deep shine. Construction noise not a real problem. The staff is friendly, they just don't get how to provide a level of service expected at a resort of this caliber... more
