We stayed for 3 nights in the Rainbow tower oceanfront/diamond head view on the 14th floor. The view was great, but the room just average. It was clean, and the beds were comfortable but the room could use a facelift, especially the bathroom. The room was just large enough for the two double beds with a little space to move... more

The *only* reason we stay in Waikiki is because I want to be near the ocean when I come to Hawaii and we are visiting our family in Honolulu. We spend as little time in Waikiki as possible outside of the hotel, taking drives to North Shore or other areas far from the concrete jungle of Waikiki and eating and... more

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The first time I stayed in the Tapa Tower for about a week and had a lovely, but average, Hilton room. It was very clean and the view was nice. But I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to stay in Tapa again. On the plus side, it was relatively... more

Just returned from business trip and a 6 night stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort. If you are looking for a resort like feel this is your place. After hearing stories about checkin- I was pleasantly surprised. It took 10 minutes and I quickly got my partial ocean view room which was quite lovely and clean. All the rooms... more

We stayed four days at the Hilton Hawaiian Village to celebrate our 18th Wedding Anniversary. We had an ocean view room which was nice and comfortable but nothing special. The resort has many amenities, plenty of shops and restaurants, but if you’re on a budget this is not the place to stay. The beach was really crowded, so we were... more

Aloha , my wife and I stayed in the Lagoon Tower which is part of the Hilton Grand Vacation Club 4/20-25. Took a shuttle from airport for $18 rather than the $35+ for a cab and also got a free tour from our driver "cousin john" who pointed out stuff to us on the way. We were one of the... more

We had a wonderful stay at the HHV for one week. It's a great family resort with beautiful, lush grounds and plenty of animals/birds/fish on site to keep our kids fascinated, especially getting to feed them is a bonus. Although it's a little walk away from the busy downtown Waikiki, we love the fact that HHV is a little away... more

This is where the action is! Loved the nightly crab leg buffet at the Rainbow. The staff was helpful, and the atmosphere was awesome! Great fireworks on Friday night. Awesome for kids, as there are tons of animals. Don't be suprised the service anywhere in Hawaii is less than steller, but its because they are alledgedly a union and do... more

I spent months and months (and months!) reading reviews of the hotels in Waikiki and decided to stay at the HHV because of the Ali'i tower and the resort-like feel it provides. I had stayed at the Marriott Waikiki previously and, although I really liked it, thought I wanted a more resort-like feel and something more elite this time around.... more

I booked a Deluxe Ocean Front Room in Rainbow Tower for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon. Room was not high up (only on the 7th floor) but view was amazing, straight down Waikiki beach to the Diamond Head in the distance. Room itself was average balcony was good sized though. Main pool was fantastic, I did have a... more
