My husband attended a business conference at this hotel in early September, so I accompanied him for a few days prior to the start of his conference. We spent a few nights at the Drury River Plaza at the other end of the Riverwalk (great place--check out my review for more detail!) and then checked in to the Marriott Rivercenter.... more

I stayed at the Rivercenter Marriott for two nights on a business trip. The room was large, clean, and well appointed. It included a large, HD TV and input panel (to hook up your computer, DVD player, or other electronics, but you need your own cables). Service was excellent, from check-in to check-out. I ate at the lobby bar and... more

Stayed here for a large conference at the nearby convention center, a short walk away. The check in was quick and friendly. My room on the 20th floor was a bit small but comfortable. Nice large desk to work at, but had to pay for wireless in the room ( free in the lobby). Flat screen TV with limited Hi... more

We stayed at this hotel from 8/27 to 8/31 for a convention. From the moment we arrived it was wonderful. We arrived very early and the bellman was very helpful. He helped us get our luggage, get checked in early, and then gave us some tips about the area. He was awesome. We loved the room. We had a corner... more

This is the 3rd time I have stayed at the Marriot RIverCenter for a conference. This is a very nice, but pricey hotel. Its nicer than the older Hyatt down the riverwalk and the other Marriot across the street. The food was very good. I had a room service steak on the first night and it was excellent (for room... more

I was staying here while in San Antonio on business after having stayed at the Marriott Riverwalk (or "RW") across the street the previous week. Long story short, I enjoyed both of the hotels, but the Marriott Rivercenter (or "RC") (the one connected to the Rivercenter Mall) was a little bit better in every way important to me than the... more

This is a decent convention and business hotel property. Excellent convention facilities and accommodations for those purposes, and conveniently located in San Antonio for business meetings. The staff was excellent - friendly and always helpful. In my opinion however, two major flaws prevent this from being a good hotel. First, it has no gift shop or place to buy sundries.... more

My wife, son, and I stayed one night on a weekend getaway using Marriott Rewards Points (30K = too many!). The location is great for spending time on the Riverwalk and Alamo. The hotel lobby/bar/Starbucks/etc. are all excellent, and the underground parking is easy and convenient. The room was fine, but nothing special. A bit disappointing, considering the money/points. The... more

Hotel is in great location and walking distance to nearly everything. Check in and check out was very fast and convenient. Breakfast buffet on 2nd floor had very awesome breakfast; one of the best I have ever had and well worth the price. My main gripes: Parking fee is outrageous! And for such nice hotel (4 star) the room I... more

My wife and I stayed two days in San Antonio and our first night we stayed at the Westin. That was wonderful. For our second night, we stayed at this property because we had enough points through their reward program to do it. However, it was disappointing. Maybe it was just in contrast to the Westin, but the property seemed... more
