After making reservations at another hotel at a considerably higher room rate, we were directed to the Hampton Inn by a recommendation from a helpful person at the Lackland booking office. Yes it was 3 miles farther, but the rate was 40% less and we weren't planning on staying in the room all that much anyway. Good choice to switch.... more
