This place is amazing. I spent 10 days there and loved it. The service was excellent, 24hrs. I stayed in a King Suite (smallest room). The room was clean, well appointed and serviced daily. There is a small, but functional, kitchen and utensils are available on request. The bed is large and comfortable with a variety of pillow choices. About... more

Amazing hotel at affordable price. We reserve a king room/ suite: huge suite with kitchen, dining room, living room and bedroom in same area. Very nice furnitures. Bathroom: with huge shower and beautiful feet antique bath... You have a desk and big vanity/ mirror as well! That's not it, suite was also with huge balcony/ terrace with outstanding view on... more

In Tucson 6/29-7/2 to visit family member in hospital on east side of town. From Google Maps and Trip Advisor found several places to stay in that area but nothing with good reviews. We discovered the Lodge at Ventana Canyon was only about five miles away. Compared to rates quoted by the chain hotels we'd checked the off season rate... more

Just returned from six wonderful nights at The Lodge, a lovely upscale tennis and golf resort featuring amazing views of the Santa Catalina Mountains from our private balcony (Room 200). The suites are immaculate and comfortable, featuring southwestern decor, a complete kitchen, dining and sitting area, kingsize bed, claw-foot soaking tub and huge walk-in shower. Gorgeous landscaping and natural scenery... more

Our family (mom, dad, teenager) recently spent five nights at the Lodge, which is basically a private country club with lodging available. I believe the country club aspect explains the high service levels described by other TripAdvisor reviewers: it’s the level of service expected by the regular members. The property has only 50 rooms, which adds to intimacy and encourages... more

We knew it was going to be a nice stay when we were greeted out in front of the hotel by Becky who checked us in, took our luggage, and gave us a tour. We also got upgraded to a suite with a loft (2 queens and private bath and tv in loft) which was perfect for us and our... more

This lodge is really first class. I've stayed in very few places where the service is this good. First of all, we got the the lodge very early the day of our arrival. Within an hour our room was ready (way before it was supposed to be) AND they had upgraded us to a two bedroom suite. The suite was... more

Outstanding vacation. When we arrived, we were greeted by name and escorted directly to our room. They do not have a traditional front desk, they do check-in in the suite. Our very large suite had a balcony that looked out at the mountains, had a claw foot tub, and a full kitchen. The service is impeccable in the hotel, restaurant,... more

Stayed here for New Years 2007-2008. I booked a suite (all the rooms are suites) with 2 king beds over the phone which went smooth. Access to the property was also smooth, the gate guard found our names quickly and let us in without problems. Check in was extremely easy since there really wasn't one! There was a hostess who... more

My boyfriend took me to Tucson for my 40th birthday. I lived in Tucson for close to 20 years and did not know the Lodge at Ventana existed. I had ran by the gates a number of times while living in Tucson but thought it was an apartment complex. Imagine my surprise when I found out it was a hotel/resort!... more
