Colette's never fails to delight! This is the third time I have been a guest there and every time has been such a treat! There are so many things I love about staying there -- the gorgeous views, the unbelievable gardens, the luxurious rooms, the royal treatment, the food, the location....I could go on and on. The garden and the view are great. The room was nice but has the personality of hotel room. Everyone is required to eat breakfast at the same time (8:30, if everyone is on time) and the meal comes in separate courses (e.g., yogurt/granola, egg dish, fruit plate). This is private luxury. Be warned that you will pay for it. The grounds are beautiful. There view over the Straight toward Victoria and The San Juan Islands is great. Absolutely stunning views and gardens. The evenings are the best in the back yard, sitting on the private patios enjoying a bottle of wine and cheese. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay -- Linda and Peter, innkeepers, are very nice and very gracious hosts. Breakfast was fabulous! Rooms are modern and immaculate (very spacious too). We stayed at Collete's for one night as part of a romantic weekend on the peninsula.
