The Waverly is conected to the Cobb Convention center, the Galleria plaza and is a short walk over a highway via covered bridge to the Cumberland Mall. Extremely convenient! As an exhibitor at the convention center I could leave my room and walk to my booth in less that 15 minutes. Great! Staff was cordial up and down the line.... more

Stayed here 09/2008 for a conference. This is a extremely nice and clean hotel. They do burn candles or something throughout the building. Was the first time I've ever walked around a hotel and thought how great it smelled. We were on the 7th floor and did hear some occasional yelling that echoed up from the atrium at night -... more

Great room and facility, what is up with the towels? I stayed here for the International Council on Hotel and Restaurant and Institutional Education conference. The building is beautiful, rooms were very nice and the staff extremely friendly. The world of Marriott is definitely a good place and they hold their standards high which is why I'm appalled at these... more

Check-in was fast! We were on the 9th floor and there were several family reunions, weddings, events, etc. gong on during our stay. None of such events bothered us from getting any rest. We heard no noise from the atrium in our room and when we did it was in no way bothersome.. We stayed on a busy weekend. The... more

My husband, two children and I stayed at this very nice looking hotel. We were very impressed with how the hotel smelled [they burned candles constantly], and overall the rooms were nice and staff courteous. The reason I would give this hotel terrible reviews is very basic. We got no sleep. Absolutely no sleep. And don't you stay at a... more

This is an upscale business hotel, 3-4 star level. The primary reason for staying here is business in the Cobb County area, especially at the conference center which is attached to . There is also a large shopping mall across the street, connected via a sky bridge. The hotel is fairly quiet with a large interior atrium housing a standard... more

The staff at the front desk were unprofessional, insulting, and degrading - making inappropriate comments and suggestions about my spouse. These comments were made in the presence of other guests who appreared shocked at the behavior of the associate while others behind the front desk unsuccessfully tried to hide their amusement. When we attempted to talk with the manager about... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a convention that he had to attend. This was a great hotel! Right from the check in- we were treated wonderfully. We were upgraded to a concierge level room and the location (attached to the Cobb convention center) couldn't be better. The room was very spacious and smelled fresh upon our... more

The service at this hotel was on the level of a Ritz Carlton, or other top-tier, luxury hotel. Every single interaction I had with the staff of the Waverly was superb - from the maids to the management. Doors were always opened for me. Staff that passed me in the hall always greeted me, asked about my stay, and asked... more
