Well this is not your typical hotel. It is truely an Inn and has the funky feel you would expect from the Highland Ave neighborhood. The historic building is nice and has a restraunt & 3 bars just a walk outside the door. The front desk clerk was very rude to me when I told him, I believe I left my glasses at the Highland Inn Ballroom. He wasn't accommodating at all. He kept putting me on hold or hanging up on me. more

I've stayed at the Highland Inn on at least five different occasions. The hotel itself is okay, though the beds could use replacing (lumpy, uneven). Let me begin with the little things...20 minutes to check in, a continental breakfast which was the most meager I've ever seen, an unfriendly staff, only one soap in the room.
